Dustin Baier

Dustin Baier has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Dustin is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Academic Programs International (API), a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Engineering at NRCCUA from 2018 to 2020.

From 2016 to 2018, Baier was the Lead Software Engineer at Sweet Pea Chef, where they led a team of contract IT professionals in designing, developing, and maintaining a popular website and internal business applications. Dustin played a key role in creating a content management system, integrating systems with sales pages and shopping carts, and transitioning the main website to a responsive model.

Before that, Baier held the position of Director of Software at HealthiNation in 2014, where they led a team of 5 IT professionals in designing and maintaining a popular website and intranet application. Dustin Baier obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Cal State University Channel Islands, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Dustin then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Dustin Baier also holds a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020.
