Suzanne Mellon

Suzanne Mellon serves as a Senior Search Consultant and Senior Executive Coach at Academic Search since October 2021. Previously, Suzanne was the President of Carlow University from July 2013 to July 2021, where significant achievements included leading an inclusive strategic planning process and executing the largest comprehensive fundraising campaign in the institution's history, raising over $33 million. As Executive Vice President and Professor at Saint Anselm College from January 2009 to July 2013, Suzanne functioned as the chief operating officer and initiated a strategic planning process that established a new vision and comprehensive five-year plan for the College. Earlier, as Dean of the College of Health Professions and McAuley School of Nursing at the University of Detroit Mercy from 2001 to 2008, Suzanne managed a substantial faculty and staff team and held direct budget responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from Wayne State University, a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
