Anitere Flores

Anitere Flores serves as the Director of Development at The ACE Foundation since January 2015, leading financial stewardship to support over 300 charter schools nationwide through funding for various programs, materials, grants, and scholarships. As the Founding President of Doral College, a role held from May 2011 to January 2015, Anitere Flores oversaw the establishment of an innovative educational model that allows high school students to earn both an Associate of Arts degree and a high school diploma. Anitere Flores also held significant political positions as a State Senator in Florida from November 2010 to November 2020, where leadership roles included Deputy Majority Whip and various committee chair positions. Previous experience includes serving as the Founding President of Doral College, the Director of Civic and Community Partnerships at Florida International University, and in leadership positions within the Florida House of Representatives. Anitere Flores holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida.
