Liliana Salazar

Liliana Salazar currently serves as the National Director for Special Education and Student Support at Academica, a position held since October 2015, where support is provided to 210 charter schools across multiple states in areas such as educational leadership and compliance. Salazar's extensive career includes roles as District Director for Exceptional Student Education at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, managing substantial ESE programs for 464 schools, as well as experience as an elementary school principal and assistant principal in various schools. Additionally, Salazar has been an adjunct professor at Doral College and previous institutions, teaching undergraduate courses in early childhood, elementary, and special education. With multiple advanced degrees and leadership certificates, Salazar is also a certified trainer in youth mental health first aid and crisis intervention strategies.
