Akram Ahmad, PhD, has a diverse work experience that spans several roles in the healthcare and academia sectors. Akram is currently the Founder and CEO of Academically.ai, aiming to support healthcare professionals worldwide in achieving their career goals. Prior to this, they served as a Research Manager at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Akram also worked as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at Taylor Square Private Clinic. As a Research Associate and Tutor at the University of Sydney, Akram conducted clinical research studies in diabetes patients, developed research agendas, and analyzed comprehensive literature and data. Akram also worked as a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at UCSI, where they taught various subjects, designed new courses, and assessed students' coursework. Before that, they gained experience as a Community Pharmacist at Aligarh Pharmacy, where they managed community pharmacy operations and provided training on medication use.

Akram started their education journey in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from Allahabad Agricultural Institute. Akram then pursued further specialization and obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Annamalai University between 2010 and 2013.

Akram Ahmad's academic pursuits continued as they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Health and Health Services Research at the University of Sydney from 2017 to 2021.
