Dominique François

Dominique François has extensive experience in information technology and data protection, currently serving as Data Protection Officer at Académie de Nantes since February 1996. Prior roles at Académie de Nantes include Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, Senior IT Architect, Project Coordinator, and Chief System Administrator. Earlier experience includes work as a Research and Development Engineer at IRCAM, where Dominique created Xspect, and as a Webmaster at Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, responsible for establishing the first site for ORSTOM. Additionally, Dominique served as a temporary teaching and research assistant at Loria, focusing on artificial intelligence education. Dominique holds a Doctorate in Informatics from Université de Lorraine, obtained in 1995, and a DUT in Informatics from the same institution, awarded in 1986.
