Mekaeyla M.

Mekaeyla M. is a dedicated mathematics education professional with extensive experience in various instructional roles. Currently serving as a Mathematics Curriculum Specialist and Instructional Coach at Academir Charter Schools Inc. since August 2020, Mekaeyla has also conducted private tutoring for middle school mathematics from August 2021 to July 2024. Previous roles include Administrative Assistant and Camp Supervisor at the City of West Miami Recreation Center from August 2015 to August 2022, mathematics tutoring at Mathnasium in July 2020, and an internship as an educator at Zora Neale Hurston Elementary School in early 2020. Mekaeyla holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Mathematics Education K-12 from Barry University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida International University and an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College.
