Rafi Miah

Rafi Miah is a qualified professional with extensive experience in engineering, quality control, and technical assistance. Currently serving as a Makerspace Technical Assistant at NYU MakerSpace since June 2022, Rafi specializes in machinery maintenance and sustainability projects, particularly with 3D printing technologies. Previous internships include roles at Solar Turbines as a Quality Control Engineering Intern, where involvement in assembly quality control and process standardization was emphasized, and at the NYC School Construction Authority, ensuring compliance with construction blueprints. Further experience in program management and MEP engineering at Setty & Associates showcased capabilities in design coordination and electrical systems, while early roles in NYU Tandon Motorsports and other organizations contributed to a solid foundation in mechanical systems and research.
