Nakea S. B.

Nakea S. B. is a seasoned Public Relations Communications Specialist at the Academy of General Dentistry since April 2017, responsible for coordinating various public relations programs, media placements, and educational campaigns. Nakea is also the founder of Urban Health Suite, providing advocacy platforms for health care issues, and hosts a local radio show along with producing a related podcast. Previous experience includes serving as Marketing Director for Community HealthNet, where Nakea developed and implemented comprehensive marketing strategies, and roles at organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana and Urban Suns Community Development. Nakea began a career in communications at Humana and has a strong educational background from Indiana University Bloomington and Kennesaw State University, along with leadership training from Leadership Northwest Indiana.
