Robert Rood is a seasoned educator and mentor with a diverse background in game programming and development. Currently serving as a Game Programming Instructor at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment since June 2021 and a Game Development Mentor at foundry10 since July 2018, Robert has extensive experience in teaching Unity 3D, C# coding, and digital art creation using tools such as Photoshop and Blender. Robert previously worked as a Unity Instructor at Experience America from October 2017 to October 2021 and held various roles including Research Interviewer and Supervisor at Consumer Opinion Services, Campaign Manager at Marchex, Recreation Coordinator at Sudden Valley Community Association, and Aquatics Director at Mount Baker Council, Boy Scouts of America. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Washington University, completed between 2006 and 2008.
