Henrik Wesemann has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Henrik currently holds the position of Assistant Professor (tenure track) at IE Business School since 2022. Prior to that, they served as Editor in Chief and Editor at the Academy of Management from 2018 to 2023. Henrik was also a Visiting Professor at the University of St.Gallen starting in 2022, where they previously worked as a Lecturer and Project Manager/Research Associate from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, Henrik had a role in Sales Management at Porsche Cars North America in 2014.
Henrik Wesemann has a diverse education history. Henrik began their academic journey at the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Economics and Business from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they attended Yonsei University as an international student from 2011 to 2014, focusing on Economics, Business, and Law.
Henrik then moved on to the University of St.Gallen, where they completed a Master's degree in Strategy and International Management between 2012 and 2015. Building upon this foundation, they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program at the same institution, specializing in Management and Entrepreneurship from 2016 to 2020.
Henrik's commitment to continuous learning is evident from their most recent education experience. Henrik is currently enrolled at Harvard University, where they are participating in a Professor training Workshop series expected to be completed between 2020 and 2023.
