Courtney Lykins currently serves as the Director and President Elect of the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB) at the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, where responsibilities include collaborating with the board to enhance certifications for nursing professionals. Lykins has extensive experience in nursing education and management, including a position as Nurse Manager for Staff Education at UPMC, supervising a 15-member nursing education team. Previous roles include Nurse Professional Development Specialist at PinnacleHealth System and various nursing positions across multiple specialties. Lykins has also contributed to nursing education as an adjunct faculty member at HACC and has training experience with the Epic ClinDoc system. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate certificate in Organization & Leadership Change and a Master's Degree in Nursing Education, both from Robert Morris University, as well as Bachelor's and Associate degrees in Nursing Science.
