Bandavong Sunthorn

Bandavong Sunthorn began their work experience in 2007 at Computerized Management System Inc. as a Software Developer / IT Manager. They worked in that role from July 2007 to December 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Web Developer at Variety from March to December. In 2012, they joined the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a Developer, and later advanced to the role of Sr. Manager, Web Development from April 2014 to October 2020. Currently, Bandavong holds the position of Director, Web Development at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences starting from October 2020.

Bandavong Sunthorn earned a DUT in Computer Engineering from Institut Universitaire de Grenoble in the years 2000-2003. Following this, they completed a BS in Computer Science at Southwest Minnesota State University from 2003-2007. Lastly, they obtained an MS in Information Systems from Dakota State University Graduate School between 2008-2010.
