Courtney R. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Communications Director - Public Relations Intern at Let It Be Foundation, where they managed a student team to develop and strategize a PR campaign, resulting in a 717% increase in annual talent show revenue and an 8% increase in audience attendance. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the Assistant Director of Logistics at Communications Week 2010, handling scheduling, budgeting, booking, and promotion for the event, securing over 85 professional speakers and attracting thousands of student attendees. In 2011, they joined Meredith Corporation as an Associate Account Manager, leading and supporting Acura's digital landscape. At Broken Cycle Pictures, where they were the Founder and Lead Producer from 2013 to 2014, they oversaw every aspect of video production and execution, leading internal departments and spearheading project proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and creative conception. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Bradley and Montgomery (BaM) as an Account Coordinator, Account Manager, and Senior Account Manager, managing digital, social, event, and multi-platform campaigns for Xbox brands and other Microsoft products. At the Sundance Institute, they served as the Senior Manager of the Film + Music Program from 2018 to 2020, overseeing the development and artistic support of filmmakers and composers in the independent film community, as well as cultivating partnerships with film and music organizations.
