Susan Munson

Susan Munson has over three decades of experience in the finance industry. Susan began their career at Merrill Lynch in 1994, where they worked as FVP in Institutional Fixed Income Sales for over thirteen years. Susan then joined Credit Suisse as a Director in Institutional Sales in 2007. In 2008, they moved to Main Street Capital Advisors, where they worked as a Managing Director and Senior Strategy Consultant until 2012. Susan then joined Charles Fish Investments as a Registered Representative from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they also founded the Fixed Income Academy, where they served as the CEO and Advisory Board Chair. Susan went on to work at Government Portfolio Advisors as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Advisor from 2017 to 2019. Susan's most recent role was at Cantor Fitzgerald, where they served as a Managing Director from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director of Fixed Income Sales at Academy Securities.

Susan Munson attended the College of Financial Planning from 2001 to 2002, studying Financial Planning and Services. Prior to that, they studied at Santa Ana College from 1979 to 1980, although their field of study is unknown. Susan also holds a certification as a Certified Financial Planner, which they obtained in July 2002 from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
