Laura Shoumaker

Laura Shoumaker has over 25 years of extensive experience in merchandise planning and training within the retail and cosmetics industries. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Merchant Training at Academy Sports + Outdoors since December 2009, Laura has held multiple key positions, including Sr. Merchandise Planning Trainer and Sr. Manager of Merchandise Planning for Accessories, Youth, and Seasonal Apparel. Prior experience includes working at Lancôme Cosmetics from December 2003 to December 2009 as Assistant to the Field Vice President, where responsibilities included managing calendars and scheduling, and at Foley's from December 1995 to December 2003 in various roles such as Replenishment Analyst and Assistant Buyer. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Houston.
