Nasser Khan, MD has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Nasser is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare. Prior to this, they held the position of Group President at Acadia Healthcare, where they led their Comprehensive Treatment Centers business. Nasser also served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Shields Health Solutions, overseeing health system operations across the Midwest and Western US. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Head of Program, Partnerships & R&D at Biograph and as the Division Vice President - Hospital Services at DaVita Kidney Care, where they achieved significant growth and success. In addition, Dr. Khan has experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and as a Resident in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Nasser Khan, MD completed their Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology at Brown University from 1997 to 2000. Later, they attended Brown Medical School from 2000 to 2004, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). During the same period, they also obtained a Master's Degree in Virology, specifically a Masters of Medical Science (MMS) - Virology, from Brown University.
