Alex Hill has a strong background in software development and estimating. Alex began their career as an Estimator at Wallis Limited in 1989 and held similar roles at several other companies, including Haymills Limited, William Verry, and Crispin & Borst. In 2000, they transitioned into the software development field and worked as a Technical Integration Consultant at Omgeo. Alex continued to progress in their career at Omgeo, eventually becoming the Global Practice Head, Technical Solutions ISG. In 2007, they joined Tabs FM as a Software Developer/Architect before moving to Omgeo again in 2009 as a Senior Software Developer, ProtoColl. Most recently, they worked at Acadiasoft Inc. as a Senior Software Developer.

Alex Hill attended the University of Greenwich from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued a field of study in HNC Computer Systems Engineering. Additionally, in 1998, Alex also completed City Guilds Level 1 in Visual Basic at Orpington and City Guilds Level 2 in Visual Basic at Orpington College. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, Alex studied Building Studies and obtained an ONC degree at Lewisham Construction College.
