Christa McCarthy

Christa McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Christa started their career in 1996 as a Polk Center Computer and AudioVisual Assistant at Phillips Academy, where they provided technical support and managed students in the Workduty Program. At Citysearch-Ticketmaster, from 1999 to 2003, they served as a Website Designer for the Production Team and later as the Manager of Production Design, enhancing productivity and automating tasks through improved procedures and tools. From 2006 to 2013, at BhDevelopment, they worked as a Junior .Net Software Engineer, developing websites and web apps for JetSetPoker.com. Christa also worked at Marquee Inc. as a PHP Developer on a contract basis. In 2012, they joined California State University, Fullerton as an Instructor. Starting from 2014, they have been working at Acadia, first as a Principal Integration Specialist and later as a Product Manager.

Christa McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Christa then pursued further education in Computer Science, earning 42 credits of C.S. classes from Santa Monica College between 2004 and 2007. Later, they completed their Masters degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, graduating from 2008 to 2011.
