Amanda Morgan

Amanda Morgan is the SVP, Chief Revenue and Customer Officer at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. Amanda has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Morgan began their career in 2000 as a management consultant and marketing professional at Hewitt Associates. In 2002, they transitioned to the healthcare industry, taking a position in healthcare marketing at HAVAS Euro RSCG.

In 2005, Morgan joined Forest Pharmaceuticals as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Amanda held this position for three years before being promoted to BioTherapeutics Region Sales Director at Baxter Healthcare in 2008. In this role, Morgan was responsible for leading and developing a team of sales representatives across the United States.

In 2012, Morgan was again promoted within Baxter Healthcare, this time to US Head of BioTherapeutic Sales, Healthcare Professional, Hospital and Non Acute Channels. In this role, they oversaw the sales and marketing of Baxter’s biotherapeutic products.

In 2016, Morgan left Baxter Healthcare to join Shire as the US Head of Patient Marketing and Support Services for Hematology, Immunology and Oncology. Amanda held this position for just over a year before joining Acadia Pharmaceuticals in 2017.
