David Newman

David Newman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David started their career as a Player in the National Football League from April 2001 to September 2004. Following that, they worked as a Senior Sales Representative at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America from March 2005 to August 2010, where they were responsible for promoting prescription therapies for patients with type 2 diabetes, GERD, insomnia, and GOUT. In 2010, they joined Somaxon Pharmaceuticals as a CNS Sales Specialist until February 2012. Then, they briefly worked at inVentiv Health as an Amylin Diabetes Sales Specialist from February 2012 to September 2012. Later, they served as a Neuroscience Area Manager at Avanir Pharmaceuticals from September 2012 to April 2016. Currently, they are an Executive Neuroscience Sales Specialist at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. since April 2016.

David Newman attended Louisiana Tech University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies with a focus on Exercise Physiology.
