Eric Park

Eric Park is an innovative leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors with extensive experience in drug development and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as the Senior Director of External Innovation at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc., Eric previously held various leadership roles at Takeda, where responsibilities included directing Takeda Ventures and leading search and evaluation efforts in rare diseases and gene therapy. Prior roles include serving as Associate Director at Shire, where successful project leadership in lysosomal storage diseases and metabolic disorders was achieved, and as Senior Scientist at Pfizer, where multi-institute bioengineering projects were managed. Eric's academic background includes a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
