Liz Carter

Liz Carter has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 when they joined Cooley LLP as a Senior Associate in the Business Department. Liz worked there until 2014. In that year, Liz joined Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. as an Associate General Counsel and held that position until 2018. Liz then became the Vice President, Chief of Staff at Acadia Pharmaceuticals and held that role until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Liz served as Vice President, Business Operations & Chief of Staff at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. Liz then took on the role of Vice President, Business Development from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Liz is serving as the Vice President, Business Development, Head of Strategic Transactions & Partnering at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Liz Carter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Cell and Developmental Biology, along with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley. Liz later pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
