Michael T. Middlebrooks M.ed (6X President’s Club)

Michael T. Middlebrooks, M.Ed has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael T. began their career as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Encino Park Elementary from 1998 to 2001. Michael T. then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, starting as a Urology/Cardiology Sales Specialist at Abbott Laboratories from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they achieved significant success, earning the title of President's Club four times.

Middlebrooks joined Cephalon as a CNS Sales Specialist in 2004, where they continued their streak of success, earning the President's Club title four times over the course of their seven-year tenure. Unfortunately, they faced a layoff and reorganization in this role.

In 2011, Middlebrooks joined Biogen Idec as an Area Business Manager III, where they marketed and sold novel devices and products for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Michael T. consistently exceeded quotas and was recognized in the Vice President's Club for their performance. Michael T. also played a crucial role in setting up an Infusion Lab in San Antonio.

Following their time at Biogen Idec, Middlebrooks moved to Teva Pharmaceuticals as a CNS Sales Specialist. Michael T. achieved exceptional results, earning multiple Hall of Fame Awards and President's Club membership. Michael T. was recognized as one of the top representatives in the nation and played a key role in the launch of the drug Zecuity.

In 2017, Middlebrooks briefly worked at Amgen as a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative. However, the drug they were hired to launch was not approved by the FDA, leading to downsizing and reorganization.

From 2018 to 2019, Middlebrooks joined AbbVie as a Sales Representative in Women's Health. Michael T. worked on a new drug launch, marketing women's health medicines to healthcare professionals. Michael T. excelled in this role, achieving top rankings in various areas, including new prescribers and KOL Speaker Programs.

Most recently, Middlebrooks joined Biohaven Pharmaceuticals in 2019 as a Neuroscience Specialist. Michael T. has been part of the Circle of Excellence and received several accolades for their achievements. Michael T. has taken on various responsibilities, including area training, securing keynote speakers, and delivering district presentations.

In 2023, Middlebrooks joined Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Senior Area Business Manager, focusing on rare diseases.

Throughout their career, Middlebrooks has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and a proven track record of success, as evidenced by their multiple President's Club memberships and other notable achievements.

Michael T. Middlebrooks, M.Ed, holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, which they obtained from Texas State University in December 1997. Prior to earning their M.Ed, Middlebrooks pursued a degree in Business, specializing in Marketing, at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1990 to 1993. With a strong educational background, Middlebrooks has successfully achieved the prestigious honor of being a 6-time President's Club member.
