P. Markus Dey

P. Markus Dey has an extensive background in pharmacology, toxicology, and safety assessment, holding prominent positions in various prestigious organizations. Dey served as the Executive Director and Head of Nonclinical Safety Assessment at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. from October 2020 to October 2021 and previously worked at Merck from April 2007 to November 2020 in roles including Director of Merck Research Laboratories and Senior Principal Scientist. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Research Scientist at Roche and an Assistant Professorship at Auburn University. Additionally, Dey has been an Adjunct Full Professor at Rutgers University since 2001, contributing to academia while also completing a postdoctoral fellowship in developmental neurobiology at Thomas Jefferson University. Dey is recognized as a recipient of the NIEHS F32 Fellowship Award.
