Ben Miller

Mr. Miller is a native of Lafayette, LA, where he graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. His professional career includes a track record of success in the industrial, supply chain, and healthcare sectors.

In 2009, Mr. Miller joined the AMG team as Administrator of AMG affiliate Sleep Partners of Acadiana, a physician-owned, AASM-accredited sleep center. He later joined the AMG Corporate Team as Regional Director of Hospital Development, where his chief responsibilities included the management of Business Development and Physician/Hospital relations for Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi. He was then appointed Chief Operating Officer, and later Chief Executive Officer of AMG Specialty Hospital – Lafayette. He later rejoined the Corporate Team as Vice President of Executive Services, focusing on revenue optimization for all hospitals in the wake of sweeping federal reimbursement changes, and eventual entry into reorganization. Mr. Miller next assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations, with direct responsibility for all AMG Hospitals and Facility CEO leadership.

Eleven years later, Mr. Miller is proud to serve as AMG’s Corporate Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of Hospital Governing Boards. His AMG career path is indicative of the company’s commitment to organic leadership development, boasting that 70% of AMG’s hospital CEOs have been grown from within AMG.

Outside of the suit he is a proud husband and father of two rambunctious sons, and on most weekends can be found outdoors stirring a Cajun dish with family and friends.
