Alex Frazier

Vice President of Professional Learning at Acadience

Alex Frazier has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2005 when they were an Elementary Teacher for Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado. In 2014, they moved to the Colorado Department of Education, where they held the roles of Principal Literacy Consultant, Senior Literacy Consultant in the Office of Literacy, and READing Foundations Academy Trainer. In 2020, they joined Acadience as Vice President of Professional Learning, and then moved to the roles of Executive Director and Director of Professional Learning.

Alex Frazier's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa in 2002-2005, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Colorado Christian University in 2006-2009, a Professional Teacher License and Special Education Generalist (5-21) from the State of Colorado in 2013, an Ed.S. in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies with Principal License from the University of Colorado Denver in 2015-2016, a Linguistically Diverse Learner Academic Certificate from Regis University in 2012-2014, and an Educational Technology Teacher of Excellence Certificate from Adams State University in 2012-2014. Additionally, Alex Frazier has obtained numerous certifications, including a Certified LETRS Facilitator, 3rd Edition, Volume 1 from Voyager Sopris Learning in 2019, an Acadience Mentor from Acadience in 2016, a Certified LETRS Trainer: Early Childhood LETRS, 2nd Edition from Voyager Sopris Learning in 2013, a Certified LETRS Trainer: Modules 1-12 (1-10, 2nd Edition) from Voyager Sopris Learning in 2013, a Jefferson Co School Dist Educational Technology Teacher of Excellence in 2011, and a Principal License from the State of Colorado.
