Erik Harbison

Erik Harbison has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Erik is currently the Head of Marketing and Co-Founder at The Marketing Help, where they lead all marketing initiatives for the website. Additionally, they host The Marketing Careers Podcast, the only podcast dedicated to accelerating careers in marketing.

Erik has also worked at Acadium, where they served as an instructor and career coach for the digital marketing accelerator program. At The University of Vermont Continuing and Distance Education, Harbison worked as the Lead Instructor for the Digital Marketing Professional Certification Course. During their time there, the course was recognized as the top online certification course in digital marketing.

Prior to these roles, Harbison was the Chief Marketing Officer at AWeber Communications, Inc., where they built a marketing team and executed various marketing campaigns. Erik also organized the company's first in-person customer summit.

Before their time at AWeber Communications, Inc., Harbison served as a Strategic Advisor at Socialight Media Marketing. Erik also held leadership positions at eBay Enterprise (now Radial), Refinery Inc (now G2 Interactive - Philadelphia), directMASS, and 360i.

Throughout their career, Harbison has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, paid search, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and social media.

Erik Harbison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising from Penn State University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Inbound Marketing from the HubSpot Academy in November 2022.
