Nico Ploner

Nico Ploner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2003, they worked as a Software Developer with Object International Software GmbH, focusing on web development. From 2004 to 2008, they joined Siegel EDV GmbH as a Software Developer, specializing in .NET applications. In 2008, they interned at Microsoft in the Developer Platform and Strategy Group. In 2009, they started working at Tangible Engineering GmbH as a Lead Developer for Cloud Solutions. Nico then took a break from the tech industry and pursued practical years in various medical roles. Nico completed a Practical Year in Internal Medicine at Klinikum Fürth in 2019, followed by a Practical Year in Anesthesiology at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen Klinik für Anästhesiologie. Nico also had an opportunity to work in surgery during their Practical Year at Klinikum Fürth. Nico's latest venture is as the Founder and CTO of Acalta GmbH, a position they have held since January 2021.
