Sowjanya Vankayalapati

Sowjanya Vankayalapati has a strong background in software engineering. Sowjanya is currently working as a Software Engineer at Acalvio Technologies. Prior to that, they spent five years at Juniper Networks as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the design, coding, and debugging of modules for network routers with sub-millisecond response times. Sowjanya also led small teams of engineers within these modules. Before Juniper Networks, they worked at Samsung R&D Institute India as a Lead Engineer, where they developed L2 and L3 protocol layer modules for Samsung's 5G testbed. Sowjanya also worked as an SSW Engineer at Samsung, where they modeled a prototyping platform for WLAN network performance in the OPNET network simulator. Overall, Sowjanya has extensive experience in software engineering and has worked on complex systems for large-scale deployment.

Sowjanya Vankayalapati obtained a Master's Degree in Wireless Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras between 2010 and 2012. In addition, they obtained a certification in Data Structures and Algorithms from Samsung in January 2013.
