Established in 2005, Acanthus is an interior design company based in Edinburgh’s vibrant Bruntsfield. The Acanthus store opened in 2011 to offer our help to a wider audience.
We believe that interiors must be beautiful, practical, comfortable and fun. Our aim is for the spaces we work on to feel natural and evolved rather than “designed”. Our use of vintage and antique furniture mixed with new and modern pieces is aesthetically pleasing and eco friendly.

The shop is stocked with all our favourites, from chandeliers crafted by the striking VIPS and FRIENDS, our homeware and gifts are currently supplied by the lovely Danish company IB Laursen, silk flowers supplied by Silk-Ka and new lighting fixtures from Tala LED. We also have an exclusive range of upholstered furniture and soft furnishings hand-made in Scotland.
