Guy Scott-Wilson has an extensive work experience in sales and partnerships in the media industry. Guy started their career as a Classified Sales Executive at MacUser Magazine in 2007 and then moved on to become a Sales Executive at Digital SLR Photography in 2008. Guy further progressed to become a Senior Sales Executive at Digital SLR Photography Magazine in 2009. In 2010, they joined Dennis Publishing as an Account Manager, where they focused on increasing revenue from existing clients and developing relationships with Tier 1 clients. Guy later became the Deputy Advertising Manager, responsible for managing sales teams and increasing brand revenue. In 2012, they became the Advertising Manager for the Technology Division, overseeing the management and profitability of the Digital SLR Photography brand. In 2013, they joined Allure Media as a Senior Account Manager, where they successfully launched Business Insider in the Australian market and developed engaging campaigns with leading technology, business, and lifestyle brands. Guy then progressed to become a Group Sales Manager, where they managed the NSW sales team and built partnerships with Tech, Finance, Telco, and Entertainment brands. In 2017, they joined Acast AB as the Content Director for Australia & New Zealand.
Guy Scott-Wilson attended Harvey Grammar School from 1995 to 2000. Guy then studied A Levels at Amersham and Wycombe College from 2002 to 2003. Later, they pursued a degree in Journalism from Solent University, which they completed from 2003 to 2007.
