Emily Watkins

Emily Watkins is an experienced office manager at the Atlantic Coast Conference since July 1991, where responsibilities include managing daily office operations, facilitating facility management, collaborating with Human Resources on safety programs, and designing promotional materials. Previously, Emily held the role of Assistant Director of Media Relations, where editing and designing collegiate sports media guides and expanding the league's Record Book were key achievements. Early career experience includes a media relations intern role at the Atlantic Coast Conference and a special writer position at The Wake Weekly newspaper, with a strong foundation in sports information developed during time as a student assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
