Jamal Austin

Jamal Austin, MBA has a diverse background with experience in technology, project management, business analysis, and operations. Jamal is currently the Vice President of Technology at Accel Entertainment, where they have held various roles since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Teladoc Health as a Project Manager and Business Analyst from 2019 to 2021. Jamal also has experience at IBM, where they were a Global Technology Services Sr. Client Consultant and later a Global Technology Services Client Executive. Jamal played a key role in business development and delivering presentations on IBM's services, resulting in significant pipeline growth. Earlier in their career, Jamal worked as a Consultant at American Eagle Outfitters, where they analyzed and improved store fulfillment processes. Jamal also gained experience as an intern at General Motors, Human Arc, HRRC, and Sirva Relocation, where they contributed to various projects and initiatives in operations and business development.

Jamal Austin, MBA, earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Operations and Marketing Management from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Psychology at The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2011. Jamal also holds a High School Diploma from Euclid High School, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed training in "Scrum: The Basics" through LinkedIn in 2019, and obtained certifications such as "Early Professional Seller - IBM New Seller Journey" and "Global Sales School" from IBM in 2017. Jamal also achieved a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2015.
