Kate Simmons

Kate Simmons is an experienced programmer and IT consultant with a diverse background in application development and database management. Currently at Accel since June 2021, Kate has also been self-employed as an application programmer since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an IT director and project manager at CargoBook and Air Cargo Inc., along with senior positions at Microsoft Access Support and Bax Data, where responsibilities ranged from database development to programming software solutions. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Kate has also pursued additional studies at Stanford Continuing Studies and the College of Marin.
