Michael Bannon currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Sitecore since September 2024. In addition, Michael has been involved with Accel as an Accel Starter, focusing on scouting investment opportunities from pre-seed to Series A since May 2022. Prior to Sitecore, Michael held the position of President & CFO at Typeform from February 2023 to August 2024 and at MessageBird from June 2019 to January 2023, contributing to its significant Series C financing. Earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Improbable from March 2017 to May 2019, where Michael was the first CFO and established the Finance and Legal functions. Michael’s career began at Morgan Stanley in the M&A group and later transitioned to TPG Global, leading the Consumer sector. Michael holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a degree from Duke University.
