Sharat Janga

Sharat Janga has diverse work experience in the technology industry spanning over two decades. Sharat currently holds the position of Vice President of Technology at Accela since August 2019.

Prior to Accela, Sharat worked at Oracle as a Senior Director of Engineering from August 2017 to June 2019. During their tenure at Oracle, they were responsible for managing the Oracle Management Cloud Platform, where they led the delivery of machine learning algorithms and data science solutions for various services including log analytics, security analytics, and compliance. Sharat'scontributions also involved developing anomaly detection capabilities for cloud services, offering threat detections for outliers, SQL injection attacks, sensitive data discovery, and more.

Before joining Oracle, Sharat served as the Director of Engineering for ArcSight Security Products at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from August 2014 to June 2017. Sharat'srole focused on delivering security analytics and user behavior analytics, as well as advanced distributed correlation for security management and data protection. Sharat successfully managed a team of over 150 resources across multiple global sites.

From December 2008 to August 2014, Sharat worked at Brocade Communications as the Director of Engineering for Enterprise Switching, Routing Products, and Security Certifications. In this role, they led a team of more than 75 resources across different locations and was responsible for delivering various switching and routing platforms. Sharat played a key role in integrating technologies and streamlining business processes to increase deployments and reduce total cost of ownership.

Prior to their time at Brocade Communications, Sharat was a Manager at Foundry Networks, which was later acquired by Brocade Communications. Sharat also gained experience as a Tech Lead Software at Corona Networks, a start-up venture.

Sharat's career started at Infosys Technologies Limited, where they worked as a Software Engineer for three years before moving on to other opportunities.

Throughout their career, Sharat has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing large teams and delivering innovative solutions in the technology industry.

Sharat Janga completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras between 1994 and 1998.
