Junaili Lie

Junaili Lie began their career in 2001 as an IT Analyst & Web Developer (Coop) at Chevron Canada Limited. In 2004, they moved on to become a Software Engineer at Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Electronic Arts as a Lead Technical Architect at Origin - Global Online and Lead Software Engineer. In 2013, they were appointed as Director Online Technology at Epic Games, where they grew the team from 1 person to 60+ software engineers, QA, designers, and project managers spread across Seattle, Raleigh, Vancouver, China, and Belarus. In 2016, they became an Independent Consultant and Co-Founder and CEO of AccelByte Inc, a software company that focuses on developing, deploying and operating highly visible, critical, secure, scalable and highly available consumer facing ecosystem of online services, websites and cloud infrastructure that serves millions of users.

Junaili Lie attended Simon Fraser University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Computing Science with a major in Computing Science and a minor in Business Administration.
