Mark Smith

Mark Smith is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrification and hybrid systems, currently serving as Chief Engineer of Electrification at Accelera by Cummins since August 2023. Previously, Mark held similar roles at Cummins - Meritor and Meritor, focusing on chassis electrification with a mechanical emphasis. Other notable positions include Project Chief at FCA - North America, where responsibilities encompassed suspension and steering systems, and Chief Engineer at Ricardo, leading a project on a pedelec vehicle program. Mark also served as Senior Engineering Manager at Meritor, overseeing the hybrid engineering department.
