Edith Pencil

Edith Pencil, CHRL, CTMP, is the Director of Employee Services at Performance Auto Group, where they oversee human resources for a workforce of over 2,000 employees spread across 38 dealerships and five collision centers. With more than two decades of experience in the retail automotive industry, including a decade in Human Resources, Edith is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, having founded the women’s network "Women Who Drive Performance" and co-founded Accelerate Auto, a non-profit focused on increasing Black representation in the sector. Edith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Toronto, along with certificates in Workplace Mental Health Law and Employment Law for HR Professionals from York University. Passionate about mentoring and promoting automotive careers, Edith actively engages in educational initiatives and industry discussions on workplace inclusion and talent development.
