Maya Gowri

Maya Gowri has served as the Senior Vice President, Head of Operations since January of 2023. In this role she leads instrument and consumable manufacturing, pilot lab, process engineering, quality control, supply chain and facilities. She has over 25 years of experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic, Life Science, and Healthcare industries. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Gowri held operations leadership positions at diagnostic companies such as GenMark Diagnostics, a member of the Roche Group, Illumina, and Werfen from 2011 to 2022. Before that, she held multiple leadership roles in research & development, business development, sales, and marketing. Ms. Gowri has extensive experience in Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence, and a proven track record for optimizing processes and improving operational efficiencies.

Ms. Gowri earned her Ph.D from the University of Kentucky and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She also holds an MBA from the University of California Irvine, Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from Arizona State University, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the University of California San Diego.
