Victoria Nguyen

Victoria Nguyen is currently working as a Corporate Counsel at Accelerate Investment Partners, a company that acquires and manages real property investments. Victoria joined the company in May 2023 and their role involves supporting the acquisition and management of real estate assets.

Prior to their current position, Victoria worked as a Real Estate Associate at Stutzman, Bromberg, Esserman & Plifka, P.C. from September 2019 to April 2023. Victoria was responsible for handling real estate-related legal matters during their time with the firm.

In January 2019, Victoria served as a Commercial Litigation Spring Law Clerk at Munck Wilson Mandala LLP. Here, they gained experience in commercial litigation and provided support in various legal cases until April 2019.

Victoria also served as a Federal Judicial Extern for the Honorable Irma C. Ramirez at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas from August 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they gained practical experience in federal court procedures and assisted Judge Ramirez in their judicial duties.

Additionally, Victoria worked as a Summer Associate in the Commercial Litigation department at Godwin Bowman & Martinez in July and August 2018, where they gained exposure to various commercial litigation matters.

In May and June 2018, Victoria served as a Judicial Intern for Judge Martin Hoffman at the 68th Civil District Court. This role allowed their to gain insight into the daily operations of a civil court and assist Judge Hoffman in their judicial duties.

Victoria also worked as a Summer Associate at Hunton & Williams LLP in May to July 2017, where they gained experience in various legal matters and assisted with legal research and writing.

Prior to their law career, Victoria worked as a Writing Consultant at the UT Writing Center from January 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they provided writing assistance to students and worked on developing the writing center's philosophy and tutoring methods.

Victoria also interned at the Equal Justice Center in January to May 2014, where they gained experience in assisting low-income clients with legal issues.

Before starting law school, Victoria worked as a Pre-Grad/Pre-Law Intern at the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium from August to December 2013. In this role, they conducted interviews, worked on research assignments, and networked with legal professionals to prepare for law school.

Victoria Nguyen received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Rhetoric and Writing / Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 2012 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at SMU Dedman School of Law from 2016 to 2019. No specific field of study was mentioned for their J.D. degree.
