Joe Halsch has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Joe started their career in 2013 as a Marketing Communications Specialist at BizActions - PDI Global - Thomson Reuters, where they developed and nurtured relationships with clients and exceeded revenue targets. Following that, they worked as a Technical Recruiter at OtterBase, managing the recruitment lifecycle and sourcing candidates for Fortune 500 clients. Joe then joined Nexient as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they managed the full cycle of the recruitment process and built relationships with universities and community organizations.
In 2017, Joe joined Pillar Technology as a Talent Engagement professional, working with developers in SE Michigan, sharing Pillar's vision, and actively participating in the technical community. Joe then moved on to Accenture, where they initially worked as a Talent Engagement Consultant for Industry X.0, and later became the Talent Engagement & Culture Lead for the same business unit. In these roles, they traveled globally to establish talent, community engagement, and culture programs, while building and managing teams.
Joe then joined Grand Circus as an Enterprise Partnerships Manager and Program Manager & Career Services, where they facilitated partnerships and provided career services to students. Joe continued their journey as a Senior Recruiter at SkySpecs, where they worked until March 2022. Following that, they joined mParticle as a Senior Recruiter for a short period.
Currently, Joe is working at Accellor as a Talent Acquisition Lead, utilizing their expertise in recruiting and talent management.
Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated proficiency in talent acquisition, community engagement, program management, and relationship building. Joe has also worked as a career coach and freelance consultant, empowering job seekers and bringing a human perspective to the talent acquisition process.
Joe Halsch pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Human Resources from Eastern Michigan University, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Bowling Green State University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography.
