Mieke Vandewaetere serves as the Head of Talent at Accent Jobs since July 2022, focusing on innovative and digital strategies to enhance workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, and process optimization. In addition, Mieke is a Guest Professor at HOWEST University of Applied Sciences, teaching Human Resources Management to international students, and a Consultant for statistics and data-analysis at REBUS Studiebegeleiding. Mieke has extensive experience as a lecturer on blended learning and change management with Syntra West and previously with SYNTRA Midden-Vlaanderen. Notable roles include Manager of Innovation & Transition at Voka West-Vlaanderen and Learning and Development Manager at Matexi. Mieke holds a PhD in Instructional Psychology and Technology from KU Leuven and possesses a diverse educational background with multiple degrees in psychology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
