Amanda Ackerman

Amanda Ackerman (Howell) is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Design Works Gaming since April 2021. Amanda works closely with the founder on strategic business decisions and promotes an open-door policy to enhance employee communication. In addition, Amanda is a Habilitation & Respite Provider at ACCENT on Family Care Services since July 2016, and holds various certifications including CPR, First Aid, Article 9, and Abuse and Neglect. Previously, Amanda held significant HR roles at the Arizona Coyotes and Tucson Roadrunners, focusing on diversity initiatives, onboarding processes, and staff engagement. Early career experience includes roles at Salt River Fields and the Arizona Diamondbacks, showcasing skills in recruitment and customer engagement. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Sports Management from Grand Canyon University.
