Deric Schmid

Deric Schmid, CPA has extensive experience in financial and accounting roles. Deric is currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Accent Wire Tie, where they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and providing accounting guidance. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Controller at Invectys, leading startup activities and financial planning. Deric also served as the Associate Director Of Accounting at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, where they established the accounting function for subsidiaries in the UK and Germany. Deric has also held positions as the Director of Accounting at Greenway Health and Senior Manager of Accounting Operations, Systems, and Control at PepsiCo. Earlier in their career, Deric worked as a Senior Accountant at Ensco plc and started their career as an Audit Senior at Deloitte.

Deric Schmid, CPA obtained a Master of Professional Accounting degree in Audit & Financial Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning a B.S. degree in Economics in 2001.
