Chris Cameron

President & CEO at Accent

Chris Cameron is the current President & CEO at Accent. Prior to this, they served as Sales Architect at Alliance Data from October 2012 to October 2013. Before that, they were the Manager of Solutions Consulting at Astute Solutions from February 2011 to October 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the management of the Solutions Consulting team in support of all external and internal product consultation. This included understanding, validating, and proving the value of Astute’s unique technologies in context of the customer’s business objectives. Chris also functioned as an organizational leader and strategic product expert serving on a variety of management and strategic councils helping to lead organizational growth and success. Chris reported directly to the VP, Worldwide Sales and Marketing in this role. Chris also played a cross-functional role interfacing with every element of the business.

During their time at Astute Solutions, Chris developed and implemented a value proposition process for prospects and existing customers during sales process. This process included analysis of all relevant areas of the customer’s business and the potential value gained by applying Astute’s products, quantifying a tangible economic impact to the customer’s business. This included analyzing NPV, IRR, ROI, cash-flow analysis, and other economic indicators. Chris also re-imagined and enhanced presentation of Astute's products, focusing on specific value and use-cases to each unique customer while leveraging Astute's industry expertise. This increased Astute's ability to present product functionality and unique solutions by leading the development of a multitude of new and engaging sales tools.

In their role at Astute Solutions, Chris interfaced with a variety of cross-functional business stakeholders within the customer’s organization including executive leadership, VP’s, directors, analysts, and IT SME’s. Chris presented unique solution ideas and provided thought leadership to key customer personnel.

Chris Cameron graduated from Eaton High School. Chris then attended Ohio University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus in Information and Telecommunication Systems. Finally, they earned their Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
