Cynthia Smith

Cynthia Smith, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Corporate Accountant at AccentCare since December 2023. Previously, Cynthia held the position of Senior Accountant at Cornerstone Healthcare Group from January 2020 to December 2023 and worked as a Senior Client Accountant at R1 RCM from January 2019 to December 2019, where responsibilities included financial statement preparation and revenue analysis. Prior experience includes roles at Senior Care Centers Health and Rehabilitation, where Cynthia progressed from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, managing financial reviews and reconciliations for numerous facilities. Cynthia's early career began at U.S. Risk Insurance Group, starting as an Accounting Associate and advancing to Staff GL Accountant, while developing budgetary and financial reporting skills. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston and an Advanced Technical Certificate in Professional Accountancy from Dallas College Mountain View Campus.
