Mike Freda

Mike Freda has extensive work experience in the field of risk management and fraud prevention. Mike worked at Accertify, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Risk Services since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Fraud Prevention Consultant at the same company from December 2017 to February 2022.

Before joining Accertify, Inc., Mike worked at American Express, where they held the position of Sr. Manager of Risk Management from October 2014 to December 2017. Mike also served as a Manager of Risk Management at American Express from June 2013 to October 2014.

Earlier in their career, Mike worked at Serve, an American Express Company, as a Quality Assurance Analyst from April 2011 to June 2013. Mike also gained experience as a Client Support Intern at IBM from June 2009 to August 2009.

Mike Freda attended Eckerd College from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in July 2018, they obtained a certificate in Leadership Excellence from Harvard Business Publishing in collaboration with American Express. In May 2018, they also obtained a certification in CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
