Sajel Mistry

Sajel Mistry is a dedicated physiotherapist with extensive experience in community health and rehabilitation settings. Currently serving at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services since January 2018, Sajel focuses on providing care to newcomer immigrants and refugees with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, while promoting health and accessibility within the community. Previous roles include work at Providence Healthcare, where Sajel specialized in stroke inpatient rehabilitation, and at Trillium Health Partners, delivering slow stream rehabilitation to complex neurological and orthopedic patients. Sajel's earlier experience at Halton Healthcare Services involved acute care for neurological and cardiac patients. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto.
